Longarm Rental

Class Description

Using free-motion or computerized options, use the Handiquilter Amara 24 to quilt your own quilt. Must have taken at least one of the Longarm training sessions to rent the Amara 24. Rental is charged in 30 minute increments, $10 per 30 minutes or fraction thereof. A deposit for your first 60 minutes is due when booking your rental. The remainder will be due upon completion of your quilt for the remaining time used. Your session will be initially booked for 4 hours (average full-size quilt can take 4-6 hours, but can be shorter or longer, depending on pattern selected). You will be charged for actual time used, whether more or less than 4 hours. Staff is available to answer questions, but it is anticipated that you will be able to work independently to complete your quilt. To reduce issues with thread breakage, you will need to use Superior Thread brands when renting time on the Amara 24. You may purchase your own, or select from the colors available in my shop. If you use my thread, there will be an additional bobbin charge of $2.50 per bobbin when completing your quilt. This covers both upper and lower threads for your quilt project.
